The Table of Contents (TOC) is an organized listing of the chapters and major sections of your document.
Readers will immediately be able to see how your manuscript is organized and then skip down to sections that are most relevant to them.
Tables and figures referred to in the text may not be placed at the end of the chapter or at the end of the dissertation.
Figure and table numbering must be continuous throughout the dissertation or by chapter (e.g., 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, etc.).
